Non-repayable contribution of $7,978 on a total investment of $22,662
The Parish Municipality of Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil, with its population of over 1,000 residents, has two community halls in its City Hall building that are at the disposal of local citizens for recreational activities and family events. These halls, which had become outdated, were no longer adequate to meet the needs of the local population.
The financial assistance enabled the Municipality to put in new windows, replace the roof covering and install a sink.
These halls play an important part in the local life of the community, and this project was seen as essential to keeping the building in a good state of repair.
