The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced the appointment of Mr. Guy McKenzie to the board of directors of The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) for a term of four years.
Mr. McKenzie brings to the board his extensive experience in the Public Service of Canada. Over the course of a 31-year career with the Government of Canada he held numerous senior management positions, among them: Deputy Minister and President of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, Deputy Minister and President of the Canada School of Public Service, Associate Deputy Minister of Transport Canada and Infrastructure, and Associate Deputy Head of the Office of Infrastructure Canada.
"Mr. McKenzie will be a welcome addition to the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated Board of Directors. His extensive knowledge and experience with transportation and infrastructure issues will serve JCCBI well as it continues its important work to ensure the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of federal infrastructure assets in Montreal."
