On March 31st, 2015, David Albert Deleon, an inmate at Cowansville Institution, died at the hospital of Archambault Institution in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines.
At the time of his death, Mr. Deleon, 72 years old, had been serving since April 7th, 1967 an indeterminate sentence for Capital Murder.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
