On April 14, 2015, Murray David Foster, an inmate at Dorchester Penitentiary – minimum security unit, died at a local hospital in Moncton.
At the time of his death, Mr. Foster, 63 years old, had been serving an indeterminate sentence, since April 11, 1975, for Robbery, Disguise with Intent and Non Capital Murder.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
