The Association des francophones de la région de York receives financial support for its annual programming

The Government of Canada is providing funding of $50,000 over two years, through the Community Life component of the Development of Official-Language Communities Program, to the Association des francophones de la région de York. The Association will dedicate this amount to its annual programming.
Lois Brown, Member of Parliament (Newmarket–Aurora), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
