Toronto, Ontario, April 9, 2015—The Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology), accompanied by Roxanne James, Member of Parliament for Scarborough Centre, and Corneliu Chisu, Member of Parliament for Pickering–Scarborough East, will make an announcement concerning the Government of Canada's support for partnerships between Centennial College and local business.
This support is being provided through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada's College and Community Innovation Program.
Prior to the announcement, Minister of State Holder, MP James and MP Chisu will tour the Wireless Communication Laboratory and Biomedical Engineering Laboratory. Media are invited to join the tour.
