On April 30, 2015, David Jonathan Wild, an inmate at Pacific Institution died at a local hospital in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
At the time of his death, Mr. Wild, 78 years old, had been serving a life sentence for Second Degree Murder since December 1, 1989.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
