Ottawa — The public and media are invited to attend a commemorative ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.
The Honourable Erin O’Toole, Minister of Veterans Affairs will join Veterans, dignitaries, members of the Canadian Armed Forces and young people to pay tribute to the Canadians and Newfoundlanders who fought for freedom during the Second World War.
The Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands will be present and will commemorate the event by playing at the ceremony.
