Ryan Leef, Member of Parliament for Yukon, on behalf of the Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Minister of the Environment, Minister of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency and Minister for the Arctic Council, today announced funding for Yukon College to support a comprehensive, long-term plan that will guide the development and future growth of the College's main campus.
The Yukon College Campus Master Plan will outline the renewal and development of the Ayamdigut Campus over the coming decades. It will provide recommendations on generating revenue and it will assist the College in its growth as a post-secondary institution as well as an active contributor to the economic and social development of the City of Whitehorse and the territory.
