Newly established SME will commercialize its product and seek business growth through exports
May 4, 2015 – Fredericton, NB – Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA)
Timbre Cases, a newly established Fredericton manufacturing company of premium protection cases designed for musical instruments, will undertake product development and commercialization activities in order to launch their specialized guitar cases in the North American market, thanks to more than $199,000 in support from the Government of Canada.
The Honourable Keith Ashfield, Member of Parliament for Fredericton, on behalf of the Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for New Brunswick and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), joined Timbre Cases officials to make the announcement today.
The project includes the purchase of specialized equipment, materials and supplies, the hiring of a production consultant, as well as marketing activities and facility costs.
The Government of Canada, through ACOA’s Business Development Program, is providing $199,538 towards this project, while Timbre Cases is providing $66,512.
