KINGSTON, Ontario, May 1, 2015 – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists of upcoming daytime and overnight lane restrictions on the LaSalle Causeway. The restrictions will begin on May 2 and continue until May 17, 2015.
Motorists can expect the following lane restrictions (no restrictions will occur during peak driving hours):
- Weekdays between:
- 9:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
- 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
- 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- Weekends between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Overnight from May 10 to 14, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Marine traffic will not be affected.
The schedule may change due to inclement weather. These closures are necessary to complete routine annual maintenance and testing.
