Compelling new visitor experience opportunities led to increased visitation in 2014
May 11, 2015 – Alma, New Brunswick – Parks Canada
The 2015 season kicks off at Fundy National Park on May 15th , just in time to celebrate the long weekend! As Parks Canada begins to ready preparations for the coming 2015 visitor season, Fundy National Park reflected on the remarkable 2014 operational season, which included the introduction of compelling new visitor experience opportunities and creative collaborations within our local and regional tourism communities. With so many ways to enjoy New Brunswick’s Fundy coast region, it’s not surprising that visitation at Fundy National Park increased last year.
This year, as Fundy National Park celebrates its 65th anniversary of welcoming Canadians, visitors are invited to explore and enjoy the park and Bay of Fundy region like never before: whether it’s testing out our new mountain bike trail, checking out the best up-and-coming musicians at our Rising Tide Festival, or learning how to camp, Fundy National Park has something for everyone.
Parks Canada is proud to be supporting Canada's National Conservation Plan by taking concrete action to connect Canadians to nature. In addition, the ongoing work of Parks Canada and its programs – like Learn-to Camp and other exciting new programs – are enhancing visitor experience and facilitating personal connections with Parks Canada places across the country.
