Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz announced today the appointment of Kimberley Hill to the Farm Products Council of Canada (FPCC). Ms. Hill’s appointment to the Council is for a three-year term effective immediately. Biographical notes are attached.

Kimberley is the President of Bridge Strategies, Inc, a management consulting firm providing a variety management services to companies and organizations in the agribusiness sector. Over the last few years Kimberley played an integral part in growing businesses and organizations through business incubation. Her experience includes the management and oversight of the business program portfolio for entrepreneurs in a Saskatoon-based business incubator, Ideas Inc. She has significant experience in business modeling, planning and strategy. She was the catalyst in developing the first-ever Business Incubation Program for First Nations and Métis entrepreneurs in the province. Kimberley also has extensive experience in the value added food industry in Saskatchewan and was the key driver of the Saskatchewan Made Program and the Saskatchewan Made Marketplace in the early 2000's. Prior to her work at the Saskatchewan Food Processors Association (SFPA), where she was Director from 2008-2011 and Controller/Program Coordinator from 2004-2011, Kimberley managed a food processing plant located in rural Saskatchewan.
