Member of Parliament Jim Eglinski announces funding for annual Whitecourt festival

Whitecourt’s Party in the Park Committee will receive $17,100 in funding through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program in support of the 9th annual Party in the Park in Whitecourt, Alberta.
Jim Eglinski, Member of Parliament (Yellowhead), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Party in the Park takes place over the Labour Day long weekend and features a variety of musical, dance and cultural performances, including the work of over 60 local artists.
