“As we approach Canada’s 150th anniversary, I invite all Canadians to take part in events celebrating our pride, our values and our accomplishments in a country that is strong, proud and free. These celebrations strengthen our communities and remind us where we came from and who we are as Canadians.”
—Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages
“Our Government is proud to support local organizations in Saskatoon and surrounding areas so they can provide thousands of people with the opportunity to gather and celebrate our great country. This summer, join in these festivities and display your Canadian pride!”
—Maurice Vellacott, Member of Parliament (Saskatoon–Wanuskewin)
“The Town of Osler is very grateful for the funding it receives from the Government of Canada. Without this support, Canada Day fireworks and cake would not be possible. We invite anyone and everyone to our Canada Day celebrations! Thank you for helping our small community celebrate our great country in a big way!”
