Government of Canada makes community events possible through the Celebrate Canada program
May 13, 2015 – Stratford, Ontario – Department of Canadian Heritage
Gary Schellenberger, Member of Parliament (Perth–Wellington), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $4,000 in funding for the Corporation of the City of Stratford – Stratford City Centre Committee, $3,600 for the Crossroads Life Church, $3,500 for the Kinsmen Club of Stratford, $560 for the Rotary Club of Mitchell, and $500 for the Corporation of the Town of St. Mary’s.
This support, provided through the Celebrate Canada program, will enable these organizations to offer Canada Day activities in Perth–Wellington on July 1, 2015.
