Ottawa – Royal Galipeau, MP for Ottawa–Orléans, the Honourable Bob Chiarelli, MPP for Ottawa West–Nepean, and Mayor Jim Watson will lay the first official rail track of the O-Train Confederation Line light rail transit project and showcase the Belfast Yard maintenance and storage facility.
Belfast Yard, 805 Belfast Road
There is no parking at Belfast Yard. A shuttle will depart City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue West, Lisgar Street entrance) at 12:15 p.m. sharp, and will return to City Hall at 2 p.m.
Personal protective equipment is required to be on site, including a hard hat, steel-toed boots, a safety vest, safety goggles, long pants and a long-sleeve shirt.
