Mr. Mark Strahl, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, on behalf of the Honourable Erin O’Toole, Minister of Veterans Affairs, laid a wreath today at the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument to mark National Aboriginal Day, which is recognized on June 21, 2015. The ceremony paid tribute to the service and sacrifices of Aboriginal Canadians during the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War and other times of conflict.
