Funding from the Celebrate Canada program helps make community events possible
June 29, 2015 – Aurora, Ontario – Department of Canadian Heritage
Lois Brown, Member of Parliament (Newmarket–Aurora), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $25,000 in funding to the Corporation of the Town of Aurora.
This funding, provided through the Celebrate Canada program, will enable the Town of Aurora to offer Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day and Canada Day activities from June 22 to July 1, 2015.
