Government of Canada supports the Centre culturel les Compagnons des francs loisirs
June 7, 2015 – Astorville, Ontario – Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada has provided funding of $22,700 to the Centre culturel les Compagnons des francs loisirs to support its project Le patrimoine et la culture d’Astorville en vedette. The project celebrates and showcases the Francophone cultural and artistic heritage of Astorville, a community 20 kilometres from North Bay. The support is being provided through the Community Cultural Action Fund, a sub-component of the Development of Official-Language Communities Program.
Jay Aspin, Member of Parliament (Nipissing–Timiskaming), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
