Government of Canada provides support for two commemorative projects

The Village of Oil Springs is receiving a total of $29,800 in funding for two projects under the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage (BCAH) program.
Pat Davidson, Member of Parliament (Sarnia–Lambton), announced this support today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Funding of $12,500 is being provided through the BCAH program’s Legacy Fund component to help transform an existing park into a historical community garden. In addition to this, $17,300 is being provided through the BCAH program’s Community Anniversaries component for 150th Birthday Celebration activities.
