Government of Canada supports Canada Day celebrations in Thetford Mines

The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development, Minister for La Francophonie and Member of Parliament (Mégantic–L’Érable), today announced $28,000 in funding to help the Ville de Thetford Mines hold Canada Day celebrations. Minister Paradis made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
This funding, granted by the Government of Canada under the Celebrate Canada program, will help enhance the programming for residents and visitors in the Chaudière–Appalaches region attending the July 1 festivities.
