The Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Minister of the Environment and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, today announced that Parks Canada’s second Quietest. Concert. Ever. – a free and innovative musical experience – will take place in Fundy National Park with Juno Award-Winning artist Serena Ryder.
The Quietest. Concert. Ever. is an intimate outdoor event giving young Canadians the opportunity for an unforgettable experience in Fundy National Park. The concert will take place on the ocean floor, at low tide, in a dramatic coastal setting. To amplify this unique experience, the concert will be transmitted directly to each fan through Sennheiser’s wireless headphone technology.
Presented by Parks Canada and CBCMusic.ca in close collaboration with Serena Ryder, Universal Music Canada, Sennheiser and the Province of New Brunswick, the Quietest. Concert. Ever. will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
Tickets to this exclusive concert are free, but limited to lucky fans and can only be won through contests and giveaways. Fans will need to follow Parks Canada’s website or Twitter feed to find out more.
Media interested in covering this unique event can reserve their access pass immediately by contacting Parks Canada Media Relations at 855-862-1812.
The quietest concert experience is one of the ways that Parks Canada is connecting young Canadians with nature and history, so they can share their experiences with their peers and inspire them to be leaders in conserving and protecting our natural and cultural heritage.
