TRC Manufacturing, a division of TRC Hydraulics, will receive up to $668,657 in funding for two projects that improve upon existing tools for the mining, and oil and gas industries:
- A contribution of up to $326,565 to support the development and fabrication of an innovative, low footprint, low-cost concentric pump jack for oil pumping shafts; and,
- A contribution of up to $342,092 to support the development of a new undercutter for the salt mining industry.
Robert Goguen, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Member of Parliament for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe, along with the Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology), today announced the investment through the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP).
