Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, July 7, 2015—The Honourable Peter Van Loan, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, and Brad Trost, Member of Parliament for Saskatoon–Humboldt, on behalf of the Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology), will highlight federal funding for the University of Saskatchewan to promote science, technology, engineering and math to young Canadians. Dr. Gordon Barnhart, Interim President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Saskatchewan, will join Minister Van Loan and Mr. Trost.
A photo opportunity will follow with students who are participating in the Rocks and Fossils SCI-FI Science Camp.
