Non-repayable contribution of $5,760 on a total investment of $11,520 Based in the Municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Harrington Community Center, a non-profit organization, owns the building housing the community hall that serves the needs of local residents.
This community hall is used for recreational activities by all members of the community, including by groups like the Club Lions de Chapeau, Société d'Agriculture de Chapeau, Association récréative, Les Jeunes de Cœur de Chapeau, Club de quilles, and so on. It also serves as a venue for various events like community meetings, arts and crafts exhibitions, dances, themed dinners, etc.
The project involved repairing the pavement to prevent water infiltration and ensure the site’s long-term viability.
