On August 12, 2015, Richard Duval, an inmate at Bath Institution died at a hospital in Kingston.
At the time of his death, Mr. Duval, 59 years-old, had been serving an indeterminate sentence for Second Degree Murder since August 15, 1984.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
