Parks Canada invites visitors to Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site for Savour the Trail, a unique 3-kilometre culinary walking tour on Saturday October 3, 2015, presented by Parks Canada and Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC).
The culinary walk will take participants along the Kejimkujik’s Mill Falls and Beech Grove trails and will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. Surrounded by the fall colours along the Mersey, participants will enjoy a variety of nature-inspired and locally-sourced recipes prepared by NSCC Culinary Arts students and other partners.
Gourmet dishes of local meat, fish, vegetables, cheese and fruits will be paired with sample beverages from Boxing Rock Brewery, Ironworks Distillery, Bishop’s Cellar, Bulwark Craft Cider and Annapolis Highland Vineyards. This event is limited to individuals aged 19 and older.
