Parks Canada celebrates the Nautical Fest
June 27, 2016 Chambly,Québec Parks Canada
Parks Canada, in collaboration with the City of Chambly and its nautical partners, invites visitors to give kayaking a try at the Chambly Canal National Historic Site during the Nautical Fest on Saturday, July 9.
This exciting event offers families and friends the opportunity to enjoy free kayaking workshops and participate in a variety of other entertaining activities. As well, Parks Canada and its partners have prepared activities for both young and old including an inflatable game for kids, airbrush tattoo sessions, and more!
The festivities will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chambly Canal Parc commémoratif, located at the corner of Bourgogne Avenue and Maurice Street. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to Sunday, July 10.
As we near the 150th anniversary of Confederation in 2017, the Government of Canada invites Canadians to experience Canada’s remarkable natural heritage and rich history in national parks and national historic sites this summer.
