This activity will celebrate Trois-Rivières as a beacon of excellence in the field of metallurgy.
The day will start at 10 a.m. with the opening of the Ironmaster’s House and of the Blast Furnace. The public is expected from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to visit partner kiosks on site and participate in sandcast molding demonstrations to discover how our ancestors molded cast iron objects at the Forges du Saint-Maurice. Students accompanied by members of the personnel from metallurgy training programs in the region will be present and share their passion and knowledge of this field filled with history and innovations with visitors.
