Government of Canada celebrates Sir Wilfrid Laurier 175th anniversary

The Honourable Andrew Leslie, Member of Parliament for Orleans and Chief Government Whip, will take part in a celebration of Sir Wilfrid Laurier’s 175th birthday that includes an announcement regarding new infrastructure investments at Laurier House National Historic Site and recognition of Laurier’s legacy to Ottawa with Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaque unveilings to commemorate Central Chambers, Confederation Square, the Former Archives Building and the Connaught Building.

The Honourable Andrew Leslie will make the announcement on behalf of the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, Catherine McKenna.
