Minister McKenna to kick off Parks Canada – Canada 150 activities at Ottawa City Hall on New Year's Eve

On New Year’s Eve, the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will launch Parks Canada’s year-long celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday. She will welcome visitors for some family-friendly Parks Canada’s activities at Ottawa City Hall during the Ottawa 2017 New Year’s Eve celebration that will include the lighting of a spectacular cauldron and the Fire of Friendship Torch Relay.
