The Government of Canada Celebrates the Legacy of Lester Bowles Pearson, the North Atlantic Treaty of 1949 and the Creation of the National Flag

The Honourable Andrew Leslie, Member of Parliament for Orleans, will celebrate the legacy of Lester Bowles Pearson with the unveiling of Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaques recognizing him as a person of national historic significance, and plaques commemorating the creation of the national flag and the North Atlantic Treaty of 1949 as events of national historic significance.
The Honourable Andrew Leslie, will make the announcement on behalf of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, Catherine McKenna.
