Win a trip to discover Canada’s North in honour of the 150th anniversary of Confederation

Today, Parks Canada and Air North, Yukon’s Airline, launched the Canada 150: Go North contest. The grand prize includes a Canada 150 Hudson’s Bay Air Pass from Air North, a five day, all-inclusive backcountry adventure in Ivvavik National Park, and a special behind-the-scenes tour of the SS Klondike National Historic Site in Whitehorse.        

The lucky winners will have the adventure of a lifetime as they explore Canada’s North in an intimate and immersive way. Set in the breathtaking mountain wilderness of Ivvavik National Park, guests will relax at the comfortable Imniarvik base camp, where they will experience the culture and stories of their Inuvialuit hosts, and hike for hours under the midnight sun. On their journey with Air North, the winners will have an opportunity to enjoy some of the best attractions Whitehorse has to offer, including a behind the scenes tour of the S.S. Klondike National Historic Site.

As Canadians across the country celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation, Air North and Parks Canada are working hard to promote upcoming opportunities, exciting events, and unique experiences that take place across the Yukon and the Northwest Territories, in 2017 and beyond. The Canada 150: Go North contest builds on this new partnership to promote incredible destinations that showcase the rich natural and cultural landscapes of the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
