Government of Canada will Celebrate the Port Hope Capitol Theatre as a National Historic Site

Kim Rudd, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Northumberland—Peterborough South, will participate in a ceremony to unveil a Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaque recognizing the national historic significance of the Port Hope Capitol Theatre.
Ms. Rudd will make the announcement on behalf of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, Catherine McKenna.
