Salmon recovery success from world’s first marine conservation farm site

The New Brunswick’s Minister of Energy and Resource Development and Minister of Aquaculture and Fisheries, the Honourable Rick Doucet and New Brunswick MPs from Fundy Royal, Alaina Lockhart, and New Brunswick Southwest, Karen Ludwig, will celebrate the return of an unprecedented number of endangered wild salmon to Fundy National Park. The now, mature salmon have been reared at the world’s first wild Atlantic salmon marine conservation farm and will be released back to their native rivers to spawn. 

Media opportunity includes seeing a helicopter release endangered inner Bay of Fundy Atlantic salmon into the river.
