The Government of Canada, the Government of British Columbia alongside the three Southern Communities of the Syilx/Okanagan Nation to make announcement on protecting lands in the South Okanagan

The Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, the Honourable Catherine McKenna, the Honourable George Heyman, British Columbia’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy and Chief Clarence Louie, representing the three Southern Communities of the Syilx/Okanagan Nation, will be in Osoyoos, British Columbia, to make an announcement related to protection of lands in the South Okanagan.
The event will be held outside and will be followed by a short easy hike, proper clothing attire is advised.
