The Government of Canada celebrates Hometown Heroes and Canadian Shipbuilding

Parks Canada and the Royal Canadian Navy will participate in a commemorative ceremony to pay tribute to three Atlantic Hometown Heroes as well as to celebrate Canada’s shipbuilding industry.
Hometown Heroes is a community-based initiative that honours men and women, both Canadian Armed Forces and civilian, who contributed to the cause of freedom and Canadian values.
The commemorative event is organized by Parks Canada in partnership with the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Canadian Legion.
