Canada’s national parks, national historic sites, and national marine conservation areas provide outstanding examples of our country’s natural landscapes, generate economic activity by attracting visitors from Canada and abroad, and provide Canadians with access to our natural and cultural heritage.

Canadians, youth, and visitors to our country will soon able to book their experiences at Parks Canada’s treasured places for the 2019-2020 operating season. Whether it be booking a fully-serviced campsite or an interpretive guided hike, Parks Canada’s Reservation Service for 39 national parks and national historic sites across Canada, allows visitors to plan their trips with confidence, ease, and know that they have a guaranteed spot at their favourite park or site.

Parks Canada is excited to welcome new and returning visitors back to the national treasure that is Prince Edward Island National Park. This year, visitors to Prince Edward Island National Park will have the option to enjoy anything from biking along the Gulf Shore Parkway, to swimming at one of our famous beaches, and walking their favourite trail. While staying at either Stanhope or Cavendish Campground, visitors are encouraged to try out one of the many activities offered, such as interpretive programs around the campfire, yoga on the beach and the Canada on Canvas painting program.

Reservations for campgrounds in Prince Edward Island National Park can be made as of Monday, January 21, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. AT for trips between June and September 2019. Please note that booking dates vary for each of Parks Canada’s places across the country and visitors should refer to Parks Canada’s Reservation Service website for more information when looking to book at multiple locations.

The Parks Canada Discovery Pass provides unlimited admission for a full year to over 80 Parks Canada’s places across the country, and can be ordered online, or purchased by visiting Parks Canada and partner retailer locations across the country.
