Canada’s national parks, national historic sites, and national marine conservation areas provide outstanding examples of our country’s natural landscapes, generate economic activity by attracting visitors from Canada and abroad, and provide Canadians with access to our natural and cultural heritage.

Canadians, youth and visitors to our country are now able to book their experiences at Parks Canada’s treasured places for the 2019-2020 operating season. The Parks Canada Reservation Service for 39 national parks and national historic sites across Canada, allows visitors to plan their trips with confidence, ease, and know that they have a guaranteed spot at their favourite park or site.

Parks Canada is excited to welcome new and returning visitors to Gros Morne National Park. This year, visitors have the option of booking a campsite at any of Gros Morne’s five campgrounds using the online reservation system. Visitors can also reserve a serviced site, oTENTik or rustic cabin. While staying in Gros Morne, visitors are encouraged to try out one of the many activities offered, such as hiking, swimming and backcountry camping, or take in one of the interpretive programs offered daily by the park’s friendly and informative guides.

Reservations at Gros Morne National Park can be made for trips between May 31 and September 29, 2019. Please note that reservable dates vary for each of Parks Canada’s places across the country and visitors should refer to Parks Canada’s Reservation Service website for more information when looking to book at multiple locations.

The Parks Canada Discovery Pass provides unlimited admission for a full year to over 80 Parks Canada’s places across the country, and can be ordered online, or purchased by visiting Parks Canada and partner retailer locations across the country.

  • To make the most of Parks Canada experiences, visitors are encouraged to plan their trip in advance, by consulting the Parks Canada’s website, downloading the Parks Canada’s mobile application, and following Parks Canada on social media for more information about destinations.
