Early Bird Passes for Prince Edward Island National Park on Sale Now

Parks Canada is offering season entry passes for Prince Edward Island National Park at discounted rates prior to the beginning of the 2019 operating season. Season passes offer unlimited access to PEI National Park’s stunning supervised beaches, over 50 km of trails, special events, summer programs, and well-maintained visitor facilities.

Having a season pass is a great way to connect with nature and the national park. Discounted early bird passes will be sold from April 1 to June 15, 2019 at a price of $49 for a family/group pass. Individual adult ($19.60) and senior ($17.10) early bird seasonal passes are also available. Youth 17 and under enjoy free admission to all Parks Canada’s places.

Passes can be purchased at Ardgowan National Historic Site, 2 Palmers Lane in Charlottetown, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Seasonal passes are also available for sale online. Entrance fees collected are invested directly back into Parks Canada’s activities and visitor facility improvements at PEI National Park. Parks Canada on Prince Edward Island is looking forward to an exciting and fun-filled season in 2019. PEI National Park campgrounds open June 5, and interpretation programming begins July 2. Green Gables Heritage Place is open by appointment from April 15 to 30 by calling 902-963-7874 in advance, and will open daily beginning May 1.   • PEI National Park runs along 46 km of the island’s north shore and includes Cavendish to North Rustico, Brackley to Dalvay, and the Greenwich peninsula. The park features some of the PEI’s most beautiful sandy beaches as well as impressive sandstone cliffs.

  • PEI National Park is the ultimate vacation destination, featuring over 50 km of trails for hiking and cycling, seven supervised swimming beaches, and two campgrounds. 

  • Season pass holders are entitled to unlimited access to PEI National Park from June until September.

  • Ardgowan National Historic Site, Parks Canada’s administrative office, is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

  • Visitors planning to experience multiple Parks Canada places may want to take advantage of the Parks Canada Discovery Pass, which provides unlimited admission for a full year to over 80 Parks Canada’s places across the country. Canadians are encouraged to order their 2019 Discovery Passes online, or visit a Parks Canada and partner retailer’s locations across the country.
