Celebrate Canada Day with Parks Canada at Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site

Parks Canada and the City of Coteau-du-Lac are pleased to welcome visitors to celebrate Canada Day at Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site. Admission is free, and there will be a variety of special events. It is sure to be an unforgettable day that will please every age!
Canada Day activities at your favourite National Historic Site!
Starting at 1 p.m., families are invited to come enjoy the bouncy castle and games of skill. Parks Canada’s activity team and Parka the mascot have prepared an epic sponge battle for you! Laughs and fun are guaranteed! In addition, a talented caricaturist will be on site to delight fans with original drawings and portraits. For the happiness of all, a truck and firefighters from Coteau-du-Lac’s Service de sécurité civile et incendie will also be present. Come out and say hi to them!
Starting at 3 p.m., the popular cake will be served to everyone. If you get hungry, a snack bar, snacks, and refreshments will be available on site.
Music for everyone
At 3:30 p.m., you can dance along with the Association Québécoise des Loisirs Folkloriques du Sud-Ouest. Then around 8 p.m., rock out to the music of Rock Frequency, the band that will warm up the site before the fireworks start at 10 p.m. Plus, don’t miss Parka’s dance performance at 8:45 p.m.!

Please note that for safety reasons, du Fleuve Road will be closed from 9 to 11 p.m. between Abeilles Street and Legros Street.
