Celebrate Canada Day with Parks Canada at Sir Wilfrid Laurier National Historic Site

Parks Canada is pleased to welcome visitors to celebrate Canada Day by connecting with history at Sir Wilfrid Laurier National Historic Site. Admission is free, and there will be a variety of special activities. It is sure to be an unforgettable day that will please every age! 

Canada Day activities at your favourite national historic site!

For the occasion, the Sir Wilfrid Laurier National Historic Site team has put together a program of activities that will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The interpretation centre’s doors will open at 10 a.m. Enjoy a visit to the charming house commemorating Sir Wilfrid Laurier. Games for children and families will begin at 1 p.m. The popular anniversary cake will be served in a musical and friendly atmosphere. A hands-on percussion rhythms workshop will be offered from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.

A Parks Canada’s “Imagine a Country” interactive photo booth will be on-site. Here, you can express your views of what your dream country would look like and capture the moment. Take a stroll in the vegetable garden, which will yield a good harvest in a few weeks.
