Parks Canada unveils new exhibit recognizing Canada’s First National Internment Operations in Yoho National Park.

Parks Canada will take part in an unveiling ceremony for a new exhibit recognizing Canada’s First World War Internment Operations that took place in Yoho National Park.

From 1914-1920, over 8,000 men, women and children were interned under Canada’s War Measures Act. Parks Canada’s new exhibit recognizes the lasting impact of Canada’s First National Internment Operations including Camp Otter which was located in Yoho National Park.
