Parks Canada opens new coastal campground along world famous Cabot Trail **SCHEDULE CHANGE**

Event postponed to June 29 due to inclement weather

Blair Pardy, Field Unit Superintendent for Parks Canada’s Cape Breton Field Unit, will join the nearby community to celebrate the official opening of the new Mkwesaqtuk/Cap-Rouge Campground.

The event that was scheduled to happen today has been postponed to tomorrow due to the forecasted high winds and rain. Jaime Battiste, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Member of Parliament for Sydney-Victoria, is no longer able to attend.

A media tour will follow the official opening.
