Federal support to help modernize community sport and recreational infrastructure across Calgary

July 11, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta – Adam van Koeverden, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and Minister of Sport, on behalf of the Honourable Daniel Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal support for community revitalization projects that will help enable Calgarians of all ages and abilities to benefit from modern sport and recreation amenities.

George Chahal, Member of Parliament for Calgary-Skyview; Councillor and Deputy Mayor Evan Spencer; Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk, Alberta's Associate Minister of Status of Women; John Schmidt, Treasurer and Vice-President, Alberta Urban Athletics Association; and Cynthia Watson, CEO, Vivo for Healthier Generations Society will join Parliamentary Secretary van Koeverden.
