MP Chahal to announce federal support for women-owned businesses in Alberta

December 8, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta – George Chahal, Member of Parliament for Calgary Skyview, on behalf of the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal support for resources and programming to further enable women entrepreneurs and investors in Calgary and across Alberta to grow women-owned businesses and advance inclusive economic growth.

Joining MP Chahal will be Deana Haley, Vice President, Corporate Initiatives and Intelligence, Calgary Economic Development; Paula Calderon, CEO, Calgary Immigrant Women's Association; and Salima Shivji, Board Director, Movement51.
