Minister Boissonnault to announce federal investments for leading-edge companies across Edmonton to scale up and create jobs

August 24, 2023 – Edmonton, Alberta – The Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, on behalf of the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal investments to enable the growth of technology firms in the Edmonton region operating in sectors ranging from clean technology and healthcare to quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

Joining Minister Boissonnault will be Catherine Warren, CEO, Edmonton Unlimited; Dr. Rajan Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, NanoSpeed Diagnostics Inc.; Christopher Cassin, CEO, Zero Point Cryogenics Inc.; and Kyle MacDonald, VP, Sales & Marketing, Boreal Laser Inc.
