Minister Boissonnault to announce federal investment to advance Francophone economic development across the Prairies

October 19, 2023 – Edmonton, Alberta – The Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, on behalf of the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce support for an initiative to empower Francophone communities across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba to capitalize on opportunities for economic growth and diversification.

Joining Minister Boissonnault will be Christian Cormier, Board Secretary with Conseil de développement économique de l'Alberta and Fabienne Mamane-Virani, Executive Director with CAVA - Centre d'arts visuels de l'Alberta.
