Minister Boissonnault to announce investments to bolster business innovation and technology commercialization across Alberta

August 29, 2024 – Edmonton, Alberta – The Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, on behalf of the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal investments for projects focused on ensuring Alberta businesses have what they need to innovate from start to finish.

Joining Minister Boissonnault will be Darren Fast, Associate Vice-President (Innovation, Knowledge Mobilization & Partnerships), University of Alberta; Pamela Goertzen, Executive Director, Smart Sustainable Resilient Infrastructure Association; and Andrea Urbina, Executive Director, ELIXR Simulations.

Speakers will be available to answer questions from the media following the remarks.
